Following the short review I started painting him for the BaneLegions competition at Wamp Forum. Since I will leave on holiday for 3 weeks soon, and the contest is due end of August, there isn't much time for a decent paintjob. So it's rather rushed, the motto is "competing is more important than winning" :)

Let's take a look at this Maelstrom Games release of the Bane Lords miniature line. You can buy the model here for the excellent price of about 12.5 EUR. It's cast in resin and a rather bulky sculpt, done by Stephane Simon, who also did some of the old Rackham Drunes and Ophidien models. I'm really looking forward painting him!
